Today Joshua joined young Canadians from around Canada to sit down with Aisha Barkhad, Canada's Youth Delegate to the World Health Assembly of the World Health Organization and to the Pan-American Health Organization Directing Council, to discuss universal healthcare - including universal mental health care in Canada.

This meeting's main focus was on the topic of universal healthcare. Throughout the roundtable meeting, different concerns, measures to take, and operational strategies were discussed to explor the possibility of universal healthcare in Canada and around the world. During this meeting, the topic of universal mental health care was raised and discussed as well as ensuring access to a universal healthcare system for everyone so no one is left behind. 

Joshua looks forward to continuing conversations with Canada's Delegate and other youth over the remainder of the year for such important topics in our healthcare system here and abroad.
